Unique furniture made just for you.

We have many years experience in converting ideas into actual furniture. In essence, if it can be drawn on a piece of paper, we can make it!

Once you have looked through our website and brochure and ideally visited our showrooms at Weston-on-the-Green you will have a good idea of what we have to offer. The next step is for us to draw up some outline plans and send you a quotation. The same process applies whether you need a single piece or an entire kitchen. The purpose of this initial quote is to give you an idea of costs and what is possible in your home.

It may seem daunting to begin – especially if you are considering a whole new kitchen. We are aware of this and aim to make the process as simple and stress free as possible. We have many years experience in converting ideas into actual furniture. In essence, if it can be drawn on a piece of paper, we can make it!

For individual items jot down some ideas on paper - you can refer the style to photographs in our brochure or web site - or send us some magazine cuttings, photographs, sketches etc. to illustrate your ideas. Please do not be distracted by trying to produce perfect drawings – we are able to make a start from the barest of detail.

For larger projects, sketch a rough floor plan: include the sizes between the main features: doors, windows, alcoves, boilers, Agas etc. Don't worry about scale; use either metric or imperial units, whichever you prefer. Again, don't worry about the artistic merit of your plan – some of our beautiful kitchens began life as scribbles on the back of envelopes! If you have architect's drawings, send us a photocopy of the relevant section.

It is useful for us to know as much as possible about you and your home, size of family, whether you cook as a hobby or just out of necessity, the age and style of your home, whether you have a larder or pantry away from the kitchen area etc. Our kitchens are truly bespoke and will be made to suit your tastes and needs exactly. The more information we have the more individual your kitchen can be.

If you prefer, it is very useful to visit our showrooms to discuss your plans with one of our designers. Or if it is helpful we can offer a Pre-Order visit to help you plan your project. We will visit your home, take measurements, discuss your requirements, discover any issues affecting design possibilities, show you samples of different woods, door styles, fittings etc etc .

Once we have the rough plans we will prepare a quote for you. This will show detailed costings – including, if necessary, appliances, options for different woods and finishes. We will include ALL costs – there are no hidden extras. It is rare that the initial outline drawing will match exactly what you had in mind - this is just where the process begins. You can either return a drawing with notes and comments or call us to talk through any changes and we will get you out a new set of drawings. We will work with you until you are completely happy with the design. It is as simple as that.

Once you have confirmed your order with a 30% deposit we work to a lead time of approximately 12 weeks. During the leadtime we can make further revisions to the drawings if necessary and also we will stay in contact with you to guide you through the order process. This includes:

  • Discussing your finish and fittings
  • Discussing your appliance and plumbing requirements
  • Arranging visits to our workshop if you would like to see your work in progress
  • Sending samples and brochures
  • Arranging the final site visit.
  • Ensuring approval of your final drawings in time for production
  • Making arrangements with you for the delivery of your furniture.

The final site visit can only take place once all building works are complete (this includes new floors) and the site is ready for us to take final accurate measurements and templates as necessary. Only once this final visit has been carried out can we produce Approval drawings for you to sign off for production. This may be something you need to bear in mind when planning the timescale of your project.
