How it works

An unobtrusive 2.5 litre stainless steel tank is fitted under the sink and the InSinkErator hot water tap is mounted on either the kitchen work surface or the sink. The water supply then flows through the filter and either into the tank to be heated or through the tap to dispense cold filtered water. 98°C water is instantly dispensed when pushing the lever. The hot water tank has an adjustable temperature dial and plugs directly into an electrical socket which is located close to the appliance.

Energy Efficient

Producing up to 100 cups in one hour; using less energy than a 40W light bulb and consuming 80% less electricity than heating water on an electric hob.

Because you only heat up as much water as you need it is both energy efficient and economical to use.

Safety

The steaming hot water taps are the safest way to heat water, with no gas flames or hotplates and nothing plugged in above the work surface. Also, the dispenser's "snap shut" valve stops the flow of hot water as soon as you release the lever, preventing accidental use.
